    I didn't get much why Ken became sick.   I understood circumstances though, I didn't understand why he had to be so jealous and emotional.    And also about their relationship, their physical relationship hasn't been going well, why didn't they split up?

    Because of being famous as a play writer, Orton had to be busy, but Ken wanted him spend time together when they were on holiday.    I don't get it.   I understand Ken started taking meds and it destroyed his nerve gradually.

    I don't think being a gay is not the main reason why Ken had to commit murder. It's not necessary being a gay but an affection.    Although think about the historical background, at that time, being a gay was criminal and it was very hard to hide such things.    I think it influenced Ken and caused such a tragedy.
