It is interesting conception. I actually can't agree with the main character, Chep's identity as autism though, except that point, it is excellent fantasy.

When I saw trailer, I was blown away. Helen Mirren was as good as like the Queen, and I thought it was very Brits. Anyway I haven't watched it yet actually, but I believe I won't be disappointed.

I didn't get much why Ken became sick.   I understood circumstances though, I didn't understand why he had to be so jealous and emotional.    And also about their relationship, their physical relationship hasn't been going well, why didn't they split up?

Because of being famous as a play writer, Orton had to be busy, but Ken wanted him spend time together when they were on holiday.    I don't get it.   I understand Ken started taking meds and it destroyed his nerve gradually.

I don't think being a gay is not the main reason why Ken had to commit murder. It's not necessary being a gay but an affection.    Although think about the historical background, at that time, being a gay was criminal and it was very hard to hide such things.    I think it influenced Ken and caused such a tragedy.

  • Comment:
Actually I didn't get nearly half of it because of their accent and slangs. They speak young men's words so mostly I couldn't guess. And their way of speaking is young's one, so it was very difficult to me.

If they had an English subtitles, it helps me, I suppose.

Story itself was OK though, I'm not satisfied with.

  • Comment
When I watched trailer on TV, I thought how they made this. Because it's focused on one point, it is a phone booth, and the story goes on that point almost whole film. So I bought this DVD, but I didn't have enough time to watch it, finally I watched after several months. It was good, but I expected more mysterious story, but the end of this film, the suspect went away. This means it'll happen again on him. That is mysterious.

  • Comment
Some of my friends who are the native speakers recommended me this film, so I wanted to watch this for a long time. I found this DVD at the rental shop, so I decided to borrow it. It was a little difficult for me to catch conversations though, of course I was able to understand the story. I'll watch it again because some of scenes are a little uncertain, vague.... Personally I enjoyed this film, and I thought Grace Kelly was very beautiful. Almost the last, 'Jeff' fell down from 1st floor's window, but that scene was terrible. I found it easily, it was a fake.

I saw some advertisement of this film on FOX TV. I wanted to see this because it seemed interesting. It is the first time to watch Robin Williams as actor. I was able to understand almost all, I guess. The story was not so bad, but I expected more serious story. Anyway I think "Sy" should've been written more psycho.
