I saw this film on TV but it was the middle of it when I realized, so I wanted to watch this from the beginning then I bought a DVD. Recently I'm a fan of Sean Penn, he is a good actor. He doesn't show his passion much though we can see it in himself.

It is not possible to say indescribably, and it becomes heavy feelings. I can't think of anything about their lives.

This story is a mysterious friendship that exceeds the time. Younger people usually don't care much about their traditional ceremony or issues, also are not interested in their history or their folks' experiences. But after she realises she is existing in Poland 1941, she regrets a lot of things, such as she should've studied more, she should've listened her uncles' talks, she should've remembered what her aunt said, etc. We, Japanese hasn't be persecuted from other people who are not Japanese, so we don't have such experience. But we persecuted some people in Asia, we should think about them.

I watched this film at a cinema, actually. It's been 22years since I watched a film at cinema last time. The sounds of kids talking was very comfortable because of their British accent.
Anyway, I'm not a big fun of fantasy, so I usually don't read fantasy books and don't watch fantasy films, but Narnia series are a sort of my foundation of reading, so I was very looking forward to watching this film. In the near future, they'll create new series, so I can't wait from now.

I didn't notice that it included a musical. Basically I'm not a big fun of musicals. But I've read some articles about this film and I found that it had something serious. I like heavy films. Anyway I think this film is good. I wasn't able to understand several scenes, so after watching film, I checked that scenes with English subtitles.
