  • Comment:
  • There is no subtitles, so I couldn't get some part of them because of thick accent.   Story itself is quite simple, I thought first, but in the end, there are some twists.   I expected more complicated human drama though not much.    I heard this film was under low budget.

I want to change, but...

I put my name as normal, but I want to change it into initial.
I found when I changed my profile, the name in entries which I already wrote was't changed.

Then while later, I found it has been changed.

Perhaps they need some time to change them, somehow.

NUMB3RS

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Numb3rs was aired on FOX Japan before, but they created a new channel which is called FOX Crime, and then they switched airing Numb3rs to FOX Crime from FOX Japan. Unfortunately I have a contract with a CATV company and they don't supply FOX Crime, so I only watched Season one.

Recently I got Numb3rs Season two in English and it made me happy, but I found that Terry had left and a new girl Megan, played by Diane Farr, had joined the cast, and she is one of my least favourite actress because of her way of talking.

I'm not a person whose mother tongue is English and also I've never lived in an English speaking country, so I need to concentrate when I watch TV shows or films in English. I saw her in a TV drama which is called Rescue Me, and I had difficulty with her way of speaking. I'm not sure if it is a typical American accent or not, but anyhow I need to concente when she speaks.

Frankly speaking I don't understand all of it.   Especially when they use technical mathematical terms a lot, I don't take any notice of them.    Because I think they are just talking about technical things in mathematics, Ha!

This is Shakespeare, so it looked like a theater play.  At the beginning, I was a little confused and difficult to understand.  It's mixed time with using car but very ancient.

Heath Ledger

Sadly Heath Ledger from Brokeback Mountain passed away on the 22nd January 2008.

According to some web resources, the cause of his death seems to be an excessive intake of the medicine (sleeping pills).

Since I watched his film, Brokeback Mountain, very recently, I was surprised when I knew he passed away.

He is only 28 years old, and he has a two-year-old daughter with Michelle Williams who was a fiance before.

I haven't watched his films much, I only watched "The Four Feather" and  "The Brothers Grimm".

Anyways I liked his play in Brokeback Mountain, he played like as a real gay person who had to be sealed in their time being, it was evil. I watched Brokeback Mountain with English subtitles because it was a lot of mumbling in the very beginning of film, so I needed to put it on.   Because of that reason, some of the part of this film, I couldn't get precise things, but I felt he (Ennis who was played by Heath Ledger) was a gay since his childhood, but he had to hide it because of the era. I don't think it was mentioned he was a gay in this film. But when I saw the scene after finishing their job in Brokeback Mountain and they had to depart into their own life, Jack (who was played by Jake Gyllenhaal) showed his sadness, but Ennis hid it and cried in shade. It makes us to realize he was a real gay from his childhood but had to hide it, so he couldn't show Jack his grief.

I should've written this on Brokeback Mountain, should I?
