The story is probably a happy end.   Since I watched this without any subtitles, I probably missed something though, the end of this film, they (Sam and Lucy) were looked happy,  so I guess it ended happily.
Talking about casting,  Dakota Fanning was acting very well, of course, I think Sean Penn's acting was super brilliant. Michelle Pfeiffer is not my cup of tea though.   And a foster mother was familiar for me, so I checked it up and found that she was in Jurassic Park. Anyway it is a good film.

The three of them plays their character well. I think the casting was great.  Olivier Martinez's French accent is a bit difficult for me to understand.  The story of this film is not so dramatic, I think. Deployment of this story doesn't have unexpected one and it's slightly different from my expectation which I had when I watched the trailer. Of course I watched this film in English, so I guess I was not able to understand precise things. The end of this film, Diane Lane and Richard Gere were talking about escaping from reality with sleeping their son in rear sheet, at in front of police station. And finished at this scene.

Some of my friends who are the native speakers recommended me this film, so I wanted to watch this for a long time. I found this DVD at the rental shop, so I decided to borrow it. It was a little difficult for me to catch conversations though, of course I was able to understand the story. I'll watch it again because some of scenes are a little uncertain, vague.... Personally I enjoyed this film, and I thought Grace Kelly was very beautiful. Almost the last, 'Jeff' fell down from 1st floor's window, but that scene was terrible. I found it easily, it was a fake.

I didn't notice that it included a musical. Basically I'm not a big fun of musicals. But I've read some articles about this film and I found that it had something serious. I like heavy films. Anyway I think this film is good. I wasn't able to understand several scenes, so after watching film, I checked that scenes with English subtitles.
